Tanya Brabin is the owner of Fitlife Sports Massage and a highly experienced Remedial Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer who is passionate about helping people move, perform and recover at their best.
As an athlete herself, Tanya understands the physical demands that training, competition and an active lifestyle place on the body. She has competed in the MastersHQ Championship Series where she placed fourth in her age group. She is also an avid runner and hiker and values the importance of strength, mobility and effective recovery.
Tanya is known for delivering treatments that achieve real results. She combines her expertise in remedial massage, deep tissue massage and sports massage with a strong understanding of movement and strength training to help clients overcome pain, recover from injury and return to the activities they enjoy.

Tanya has a strong interest in treating shoulder dysfunction and upper body injuries that affect movement, strength and athletic performance.
She regularly helps clients with:

• Adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder)
• Shoulder impingement syndromes

• Gym and training related injuries

Her goal is to identify and treat the underlying cause of pain and dysfunction while restoring strength, stability and range of motion. In many cases her treatment approach helps clients avoid the need for surgery or corticosteroid injections.
Treatment
Tanya provides remedial massage, deep tissue massage and sports massage, tailoring every treatment to the individual needs of each client.
She takes a whole body approach to treatment, combining hands on therapy with movement based rehabilitation and corrective exercise. This approach helps relieve pain while restoring healthy movement patterns so the body can function the way it was designed to.
Fresh from completing advanced massage training in Thailand, Tanya has added powerful and targeted techniques to her treatment approach. These techniques help release deep muscular tension, improve mobility and support faster recovery for clients managing injury, training load or work related strain.
Ongoing professional development is an important part of Tanya’s practice at Fitlife Sports Massage. She regularly undertakes further training to continue refining her skills and to ensure clients receive highly effective treatments for sports injuries, muscular pain, mobility limitations and performance improvement.

All of our therapists are registered with all Health Fund Providers and rebates are available dependant on your individual level of cover. Please contact your health fund if you are unsure of your eligibility to claim for remedial massage.
CANCELLATION FEES
Please be aware that cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to your appointment will incur a cancellation fee of 50 % of the full cost. Appointments that are not attended will incur a 100% no show fee.
