Some tips from Tanya on how to push yourself to achieve your fitness goals

These are my top three tips that have helped me to really push my body and achieve some personal bests and I hope you will find the advice helpful for your fitness journey too.

It all begins with nutrition, the cornerstone of peak performance. Over the years, I’ve learned that what you put into your body can make or break your training and competition. That’s why I’ve been working closely with a sports dietitian, and it’s been a game-changer.

Proper nutrition is your secret weapon. It fuels your body, boosts energy and optimises recovery. As athletes, we push our limits, so we need to give our bodies the right fuel to keep going. Invest in a chiropractor:

Staying in top form is essential for every athlete and that’s where my chiropractor, Daniel Tran from Prevention Health & Recovery (PHR), comes into play. Daniel has been amazing at keeping me in peak physical condition. As athletes, we ask a lot from our bodies and it’s vital to ensure everything is aligned and functioning optimally.

Chiropractic care is not just about addressing issues when they arise; it’s also about prevention. It can help you perform at your best while reducing the risk of injuries. Think of it as your secret weapon in the pursuit of athletic excellence.

Massage:

You all know that massage would be here. But I don’t see massage as a luxury; it’s a crucial component of my recovery process.
